Privacy policy

Draft for the owner’s legal review. Last updated November 2, 2026. Not yet approved for publication as final legal terms.

Who is responsible

Revline provides conversational video editing, clipping, motion design and cloud exports. The operator’s legal name, postal address and monitored contact email must be confirmed before these draft policies are approved. For now, privacy and support contact details are pending owner review.

What we collect

Clerk handles account identifiers, name, email, sign-in providers and authentication sessions. Revline stores project titles, timelines, prompts, chat replies, tool activity, uploaded video, audio and images, transcripts, generated assets and exports. We also process subscription identifiers, entitlement status, purchase history and technical diagnostics needed to operate the service. Apple handles App Store payment details; Stripe handles web payments. Revline does not receive your full payment card information.

Where processing happens

Convex stores account, project and entitlement records. Uploaded media and exports are stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage and delivered using time-limited URLs. Revline’s media workers and render services run on our servers and configured Cloudflare or Fly infrastructure. The website uses its configured hosting provider. Clerk provides authentication; Apple, Stripe and Superwall support purchases and subscription access.

AI providers and explicit permission

To carry out an edit, we may send your prompts, relevant conversation and timeline context, selected media or source links, video frames, audio and transcripts to OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Deepgram, fal and ElevenLabs, depending on the requested operation and configured service. Not every request uses every provider. In the iPhone app we ask for explicit permission before your first edit or import, and you can withdraw it in Account settings. Without permission you can browse your projects and account, but operations that need third-party processing are unavailable. Withdrawing permission stops future requests; it cannot undo completed processing.

Provider retention and training terms differ by provider and contract. The operator must verify the configured providers’ data protection terms, retention settings and international transfer arrangements before approving this draft. We do not claim that every provider has zero retention or that data is never used for training without that verification.

Why we use data

We use data to authenticate you, sync your workspace, prepare media, answer edit requests, render exports, provide subscription access, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and respond to support requests. We do not sell your uploaded footage. Optional website analytics or error monitoring may use PostHog and Sentry when configured. The iPhone app does not request cross-app advertising tracking permission or use advertising identifiers.

Retention and deletion

Projects and uploaded media remain in your account until you delete them or your account. Project and account deletion hides access and queues removal of associated project records, chat data, owned media and exports. Storage deletion retries in the background, so physical removal is not instantaneous. Security logs, provider-side retention, backups and legally required billing records may outlive active account data. The operator must approve specific backup and statutory retention periods before publication.

Your choices

You can choose media through the system Photos or Files picker without granting full photo-library access. Exporting to Photos requests add-only permission. You can edit your profile through Clerk, withdraw future AI-processing permission, delete projects, or use Account → Delete account in the iPhone app. Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage it in your Apple subscription settings. You may also request access, correction, export or deletion through the monitored contact address once the operator confirms it.

Children, transfers and changes

Revline is a general-purpose creative tool and is not directed at children under 13. Do not upload sensitive personal data without the permissions required for your content. Services may process data outside your country. Material changes to the purposes or recipients of AI processing require renewed disclosure and permission. This draft must be reviewed for the regions where Revline is offered.
